Bajaj recently introduced a 125cc variant of its Pulsar NS series. The NS125 offers the same sporty profile and race-ready performance of its larger siblings at an accessible price point. NS125’s engine is a 124cc single-cylinder four-stroke unit which delivers 14.8bhp and 10.8Nm of power. However, clutch response is light and natural, gear ratios are appropriate, however the lack of sixth gear reduces highway cruising comfort somewhat. Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Design
The NS125 draws its design inspiration from both its larger counterpart, Pulsar NS160, and near decade-old sibling, NS200. The tiny visor, clip-on handlebar and semi-digital instrument cluster all remain, but thanks to new paint schemes and graphics it now appears fresher than before. What it lacks in brochure-filling features it makes up for with reliable hardware such as its perimeter frame which ensures high rigidity and low flex for agile handling while Nitrox monoshock rear suspension offers stability across varied road conditions.
This motorcycle is light on its feet and requires less effort to change directions than its larger sibling, the NS200. Additionally, with its skinny tires and compact wheelbase design, the bike rides more confidently than its smaller sibling, NS160. Braking is adequate with both disc and drum setups at both ends but some riders might find the lever less than satisfying.
Overall, the Bajaj NS125 is an attractive bike with superb performance and fuel efficiency. Additionally, its comfort features make it great value for money and should make city traffic and highway rides much less daunting.
