Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra
Asus has been relatively quiet about their Zenfone 11 Ultra smartphone. But Evan Blass, a reliable leaker, recently confirmed reports that it would feature a large display, punch hole selfie camera and squared off rear camera island.
Tom’s Guide will bring more details when the official launch happens later this month.
Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Display
Only months after its initial introduction, the Zenfone Ultra has made a comeback – taking inspiration from both Asus ROG Phone 8 and regular smartphone divisions of their design language. That seems likely not an accident as reports swirled that they may combine these divisions together into one entity.
Reddit and Android Authority renders recently discovered by Stufflistings show off the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra in various guises, and these latest renders from Reddit and Android Authority reveal its stunning flat display with slim bezels and a central punch-hole camera. Meanwhile, its back panel features an eye-catching angular decal and squared-off camera module – features that were confirmed earlier.
The specs of the ROG Phone 8 also mirror its features, such as its 6.78-inch Samsung Flexible AMOLED LTPO display with support for up to 144Hz in Game Genie mode and 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor equipped with gimbal OIS and 32MP telephoto camera, plus its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU which comes paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage capacity.
Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Camera
Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is set to become the next flagship handset in their ZenFone series. Reportedly featuring an immersive edgeless display and cutting-edge AI integration alongside life-changing camera functions.
Evan Blass recently shared design renders of the device, showing it in Black, Blue, Orange and Silver colors – similar to those found on the ROG Phone 8. These renders seem to suggest that the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra will follow a familiar path when it comes to design.
Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is set to share many similar specs as ROG Phone 8 Pro: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU coupled with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage is expected. Optics could include 50MP Sony IMX890 primary shooter with Gimbal OIS, 13MP ultrawide sensor and 32MP telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom; plus it will feature 32MP RGBW sensor on its front camera for selfies and video calling.
Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Battery
Although smartphone sales of compact smartphones have seen a drop, Asus is continuing its Zenfone series. A teaser revealed that their next phone will feature improved battery life.
The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra will ditch the compact form factor of previous models and take design elements from ROG Phone 8’s design language. It will feature a 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED LTPO display capable of supporting up to 144Hz refresh rate gaming; slim bezels will surround its front panel and offer space for selfie camera placement.
The smartphone will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, along with up to 5,500mAh battery capacity and support for 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Running Android 10 with their custom Zen UI interface, it is expected to feature improved triple rear camera setups such as 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor, 13MP ultrawide lens and 32MP telephoto camera for 3X zoom capabilities.
